HealthCare Recruiters International is seeking passionate Occupational Therapists, OTR/L to work with the pediatric population in both natural environments and clinical settings. Join us in serving Kershaw County and Sumter County.

  • Occupational Therapists, OTR/L will conduct initial evaluations and screenings for assigned pediatric patients.
  • Occupational Therapists, OTR/L will develop and implement treatment plans tailored to pediatric patients’ needs, focusing on activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory integration, and handwriting.
  • Occupational Therapists, OTR/L will deliver therapy services according to established protocols, utilizing play-based therapy, sensory processing techniques, and assistive technology as needed.
  • Occupational Therapists, OTR/L will maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
  • Occupational Therapists, OTR/L will support pediatric patients from Head Start through 8th grade in school, clinic, and home settings, addressing developmental delays, sensory processing disorder (SPD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other pediatric conditions.

Required credentials needed for the Occupational Therapist, OTR/L

  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) accredited school of occupational therapy.
  • Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist, OTR/L

Abilities needed for the Occupational Therapist, OTR/L role:

  • Perform patient lifting using appropriate techniques, with the ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during work shifts.
  • Fine motor skills for accurate documentation and use of therapeutic equipment.
